The Race Area
Princess Royal Harbor is a protected harbor and is an ideal sailing location. It has clean winds and the race area is not subject to wind disturbances from sea cliffs or other land features which results in consistent wind most of the time.

The PRSC is only 8 kilometers from the City centre by road and faces directly south of the City. It is also the biggest, deepest and safest sheltered natural Australian harbour between Shark Bay in Western Australia and Melbourne in Victoria (source Albany Port Authority).

The racing area is in protected flat water with no swell or significant wind wave conditions, and water temperatures make sailing a pleasure.
